ORAL SURGEON

Location Fort Wayne, IN | 

Fort Wayne Oral Maxillofacial Surgery & Implant Center, Indiana

Premier, highly profitable, highly respected, well-established, busy, thriving three-office Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery practice in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is seeking a full-time or part-time Board-eligible or Board-Certified Associate to start ASAP. 

The candidate must be able to provide excellent surgical services, establish and maintain relationships with existing and new referring doctors, be enthusiastic, be very motivated, and be interested in improving the practice.

Partnership opportunity will become available for the right candidate after 4 to 5 years of working together, and mutually agree that it is a good partnership fit.

Practice is Implants, Bone grafting, Dentoalveolar surgery, and IV sedation heavy, with some Pathology, Trauma, and Orthognathic if desired. Full-scope practice is openly available if desired. 

We are surrounded by four level 2 trauma hospitals, all within a 5-to-20-minute radius. Admitting privileges to these hospitals is encouraged. 

Competitive minimum $650,000 to $750,000 base annual salary for full-time, 4 and ½ day week. Additional paid benefits include yearly malpractice insurance, health insurance, 2 weeks paid vacation, paid 1-week sick leave, company 401K match, and CE. May take more than 3 weeks, non-paid time off.

We are state-of-the-art FULLY DIGITAL including i-CAT-FLXs, Intraoral scanners, in-house 3D printing both (surgical guides and teeth) Bien-Air & Hall-drills, Piezo surgery, PRP, Ellman, DSLR-cameras, WinOMS, etc.

TREATMENT PLAN COORDINATOR

In this role, you will be responsible for presenting individualized Treatment plans to patients and ensuring that all their questions and concerns are taken care of. You will also track Unscheduled Treatment daily & follow-up with patients who did not schedule treatment.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Present and go over Treatment plans with patients and facilitate Case Acceptance.
  • Provide Treatment Estimates.
  • Ensure the Unscheduled Treatment Report is up to date daily.
  • Check out patients.
  • Call patients and follow up on their Unscheduled Treatment.
  • Make sure patients understand their out-of-pocket estimate.
  • Notify patients in advance of their appointment, of their out-of-pocket expense.
  • Ensure that doctors’ schedules are filled.
  • Track unscheduled treatment on spreadsheet & follow up with patients.
  • Track daily acceptance & unscheduled treatment in spreadsheet.
  • Assist in answering phones, when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by Business Office Manager.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Friendly, upbeat personality with a smiling face.

  • Good time management skills, and ability to multitask.
  • Professional, both as a person, and dress code.

Education/Experience:

  • At least High School Diploma, or equivalent, required.
  • Three years of experience working in a dental office, preferably in a treatment planning or sales related role, required.

FRONT OFFICE STAFF

Responsibilities and Duties:

As a Front Office Business Associate / Staff, you should be able to organize and maintain patient waiting areas as well as front-desk areas. You will perform all duties in a manner that ensures the efficient running of the dental practice.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice.
  • Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed.
  • Assisting patients to fill out information forms.
  • Preparing patients’ charts and daily schedules for the dental staff.
  • Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing text, email, or phone call reminders.
  • Assisting the treatment coordinator as needed as it relates to insurance, treatment presentation, etc.
  • Assist with utilizing reports as it relates to hygiene recall, patient treatment, and patient reactivation.
  • Inform patients of office policies, and provide them with pertinent information.
  • Assist with inbound calls and provide any patient follow-up as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent; required.
  • One to three years of experience working in a dental practice as a receptionist, treatment coordinator, or similar.
  • Other similar experience as a receptionist in a non-dental related field will be considered.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (fax machines and printers).
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, and able to prioritize tasks.
